Fun and frivolity from across the Internet and the deepest recesses of my mind. Some good, some bad; some laughs, some tears. All real, all natural, and all excited to see you.
Look out for poetry, rants, and links to short stories.
Nothing here is written to offend (except when it is). Thoughtful discussion is the way to grow.

Think. Talk. Write. Repeat.
Disappointment
is listening
to the front
door slam
after a bottle
of white
wine and years
of never
knowing

I want a job in books. I want my own bookstore. I want my own publishing house. I want to shelve books and hand out books and edit books and sell books. I want to write books and sign books and help others plan books. I want to read books to children I raise and children I don’t know. I want books in my life in a way they never have been before.
Beautiful.

Heathcliff, The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper FfordeI’m falling back into that seventh grade “I’m going to be a successful sci-fi/fantasy author and write dozens of books and have prequels and draw maps and plot down to their children’s-children’s-children, just in case I ever need to write a sequel a century into the future” mentality.
But, this time around, there are more robots.
And Jeremy Renner is one of the male leads.
Mmmm.
